Busy, Busy

So, things have been pretty busy at our house. Lots of Christmas activities, shopping, baking and wrapping.
Yesterday was the big baking day - I baked from 7am until about 2pm and then spent the rest of the afternoon wrapping the treat plates up. I was exhausted by the end of the day - but happy to have it done. I'm excited to start handing them out tonight!
We've been doing a different activity every day this month (the advent calendar tells us what to do). We've gone to a Christmas movie, made treats and cookies, watched Christmas movies at home and read Christmas stories with hot chocolate next to the Christmas tree. We went to see Santa, went to the tree-lighting in downtown Idaho Falls and we also went to the Old Fashioned Christmas display at the museum (it's free - if you live in IF you should check it out). Other things we've done this month - made cards, made ornaments, wrote Santa a letter, received an email from Santa (via portablenorthpole - it is AWESOME!), bought gifts for an elderly person via the Angel Tree program, went on a sleigh ride, shopped, shopped and shopped some more. I know we've done some other stuff too - but I can't think of it right now. Good thing I've saved all the little notes in the calendar so that I can document it all later, right? Today's activity is to deliver neighbor gifts - should be fun. Later this week we're making cookies for santa, putting together a gingerbread house, wrapping presents (Carter will wrap his Dad's), going to look at Christmas lights, opening one present on Christmas Eve and watching a Christmas movie. Jeffery is staying the night at our house on Christmas Eve and I'm sure excited for that, too. It's going to be an awesome Christmas for our little family.
So, what have you been up to this Christmas Season, Internet? Anything fun? I sure hope so!
