Observations:

- Lately I've been spending quite a bit of time at the thrift stores in search of jars and vases and pretty dishes for my reception.....and I am continually amazed by the crap people buy. I mean, sure, they probably think I'm buying crap, too. But at least my crap isn't a ballerina elephant figurine.
- Just sayin'.
- I have recently observed (as of last night) that I have a bit of a neck waddle.
- I just hope it doesn't swing back and forth when I move my head.
- This whole work thing is really getting in the way of all of my crafty endeavors. How's a girl supposed to get all her stuff done AND make a quilt when she has to spend 6 hours a day at work?
- Ok, that was a little out of line. I guess I should just be happy that I only work 6 hours a day.
- Speaking of my quilt - at this point it looks like a 5 year old's first sewing project. NONE of the seams match up. But the fabric is pretty. Does that count for anything? Thank goodness this project is just for me - it'll be like a memory of my first quilting project. Something I can compare future projects to and see how far I've progressed.
- Yea, that's it. That was my plan all along!
- Ya know, I really don't like making crappy projects. It pretty much KILLS me when I can't immediately succeed at something. It's this little problem I have. Ask Bob. Poor guy has to listen to a helluva lot of whining.
- Last night Bob and I went out on a date. We ate Olive Garden and then went and saw The Grey. It was good. Not great - but definitely good.
- I love that Bob still opens car doors for me. It's very sweet - especially on a date night!
- I am SUPER excited for Saturday's wedding dress appointment. I hope I find a dress I love.
- I am also super excited to get together with the Linsenmann's to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday. We haven't spent much time with them lately - and I really miss them!!
- And, that's it, I guess.
